Friends Wordbook

I was so excited to finally get this project done. I have made wordbooks before but only in cardstock. I made the Green wordbook first w/a double sided cardstock and inked the edges w/Stampin Up's Tempting Turquoise. I designed this book in SCAL and the font I used is called SCREAM. It was downloaded from the internet. I cut the two sets out of cardstock and 1 set out of thin cardboard/chipboard. It took a little longer than the Red wordbook.

Now,the red book went alot faster and I used less paper. I initially painted the back end of each letter w/an acrylic paint by Ranger and then glued the patterned paper to the front of each cardstock piece. I really think the letters pop now that I have interchanged the solid and pattern for every other letter. If you'd like the scut file for this book please leave me a comment and I will email it to you. Enjoy embellishing your own wordbook!

About Me

My photo
I began my papercrafting journey when someone from work invited me to a Stampin UP party. I couldn't believe how easy it was to make something so beautiful. As I went to different workshops, people began to bring their different projects to the parties and one time a lady brought her scrapbook! OMG!!!! It was love at first sight. I didn't say a word. I just listened to what she said about it and how she did it and I began to just go into local craft stores and put the pieces together and the rest is history. Because this love of mine began before I married or had children, I was able to document a great deal of what has happened over the past ten years. I am so thankful for this love of paper crafting. It has gone from card making to scrapbooking, to book making to clay crafts to paper jewelry and combinations of the like!
